SEC FOOTBALL WORKOUTS OPEN JUNE 1ST

Yea I think it will be good for early July for the U like one of the players said in a interview

This is about letting the athletes have access to the on campus gyms and weight rooms. It would be voluntary and supervised so the kids remain safe and health guidelines observed. It isn't about team football practice starting. And it will be guided by whatever the state guidelines are for public gym use.

I hate to say it, but when it comes to college football, The $EC is the leader. This must be started by someone and all other major conferences should also vote at the same time. This will drive progress moving towards playing in the fall.
I am not sure if it will be approved, but the season has to start somewhere and getting the players back to the facilities is the first step.
Let Open up and get back to life and college football!!! :11263272045-489f4f7972-o:

You guys think this gets approved

I think if anyone does approve it, its SEC country.

This is larger than football, this is a constituency issue.

Until there's a concrete plan on what to do when the first player/coach tests positive, it's all nonsense.
Dude, you don's think they have a plan already? Football is the biggest money maker for Universities, just because you don't know the plan soesn't me they don't have several ready to put in place. Come on...

And remember, in the South football is not life and death, it is much MORE important than that. SEC doesn't need anyone else to play. They will just get all 4 playoffs spots and happy with that.

I don't think anybody has a plan.
NBA has said that if and when they open up (supp big support from whole league) and someone tests positive they will not shut down again and deal with it. Not sure what the actual plan is though.
