On Thursday afternoon the Southeastern Conference announced its annual revenue distribution for members of the league, with the conference as a whole dividing a whopping $651.0 million of total revenue among the 14 schools.

That was an increase of $23.9 million from the total distributed in the previous year.

That overall distribution gets split between the 14 SEC schools, resulting in an average distribution for each school of $44.6 million. Year over year that's an average jump in payout of about $1.5 million per school.

The ACC hasn't released their revenue distribution for 2019 but I found this for 2018 vs 2017:

ACC saw an increase of about 11% from the previous year, and each ACC member received a distribution of $29.5 million. The total amount of revenue reported by the ACC on its most recent tax filings came in just under $465 million, which is up from the $418.1 million reported a year ago.

To compare for 2018 -
Big Ten revenue distribution of $51.1 million
Big 12 members received $36.5 million,
Pac-12 schools received $30.9 million.

Think about it these CNF had their own Network, and ACC just started last year, so the revenue should go up from here and out.

I posted this in the other thread yesterday. $44.6 Million per team. And it’s going to increase with a new TV deal.

If Miami and FSU get their acts together and become relevant again, the ACC deal will be huge. Both those schools still draw big numbers on t.v.

“Shalala said that the SEC pursued Miami in expansion talks in the early 2000s while she was president of the university.

"We just could not compete with their [coaching] salaries," Shalala said.

Miami eventually left the Big East for the ACC.”
