It sucks that hard copy tickets aren’t still sent out because they would be nice Memorabilia but we still would get some sort of welcome information about the season the last few years. I’ve gotten all my digital tickets in my account but nothing from the university in the mail. Has anyone received anything?

I always liked getting that giant envelope. Felt a little like Christmas in August.

Do any colleges still send out paper acceptance letters or do they all allow you to check your status online? I remember one of my boys in high school got like 7 rejection letters all on the same day. I like to think the mailman was hiding in a bush watching with a big grin on his face.

Very lame and cheap, and how you do anything is how you do everything according to the man in charge.

As a grown *** man, maybe it’s a little embarrassing to admit, but when we used to get those thick paper tickets, I did actually feel like a kid opening presents Christmas morning.

Even though I miss that visual and tactile experience, digital tickets (and StubHub, et al) are so much more convenient, just the general overall experience, convenience, and flexibility, is better.

Especially when buying or selling tickets, and I’m not just talking about canes football, because I never sell my tickets, but I do buy extra tickets sometimes, and I have sold other sports teams tickets when I haven’t been able to go.

agreed, the AD should change that, or at least provide an option.

Got mine few weeks ago. So excited for the next week's boi. Best feeling is having early games, pummel someone and come home to watch the other games. Or have a late game and come home amped up at midnight watching highlights. Last year the highlight was watching the crowd catching the cat. I didn't even realize wtf was going on while I was there.

They save a lot but they really should have a thanks letter from the head coach to the season ticket holder’s. The paper ticket could even be an uncut sheet that’s a calendar from home games. It’s gotta be the new AD because even last year we got something.

I totally understand the move to all digital but I miss the physical copies too. That big envelope showed up in the mail with a cool little pamphlet with your tickets and parking passes. It actually made you feel a little bit cooler than the average fan for at least a little bit.

The only option available is ...

1. digital download of tickets and parking passes.
2. IF you request it ... they WILL print the tickets ... but you have to pick them up at the Hecht ... they will not
mail them out.

I had never used the digital wallet before and I asked about printing something ... I did download the digital wallet app and downloaded
my tickets but my buddy stopped by the Hecht and they gave him printed tickets for our 2 season tickets and 2 parking passes.

Mike Gundy agrees.

I love the digital wallet esp on game day when you end up losing the ticket bc it falls out of your pocket of if you leave them on the kitchen counter before you leave.

How much money you figure they save ? Printing, mailing and so on.
Enough to where they only print on request. It would be cool if they mailed out non operational, souvenir tickets as a kind of thank you, but I also understand why they don't.
