So I’ve been a season ticket holder for years at the club level. I’ve also owned parking passes for the last 3 years. However, I live in Illinois and can’t go to most games and end up selling the majority of them through SeatGeek which Miami is affiliated with and it’s sold through my ticket account.
I got an email today at 4:03 pm central standard time (3:03 pm Miami time) saying the school was reviewing ticket accounts for those who appear to be purchasing premier seating for the primary intent of reselling them and my account was selected. They said they are cancelling my season tickets and parking passes and refunding my money but I have until May 15 to appeal and they gave a link to do so. Obviously, I called immediately but the ticket office was closed and then filled out the appeal form.
What in the **** is going on with this. I’m not able to leave every single home game from Illinois to go there. Anyone know anyone in the ticket office that could help me out.
