Hospitals systems aren't "flooded" with COVID patients. You missed a great opportunity to measure acceptable deaths in 727max's. How many would you like to add the squadron? How many 727's of people are going to die just because they can't access basic care due to flooded hospitals with covid patients. Do you have a chart for that too?
Let me be more specific. Would you fly 100x 727max's into the ground so you can tailgate at hard rock this year?
125 teams x 12 games x avg 20000 fans/staff/players per x air travel × bus travel x hotel x school exposure ÷ infection rate ÷ death rate.
HUGE difference in system vs individual ward (and even a huge stretch there).
Por examplo...shall we discuss how much excess and unused bed capacity (staff + infrastructure + supplies + equipment + DME before anyone "smart" tries to get too cute) exists in just SoFL?
Access though--let's kibbitz--we won't calculate the damage for some time to those with borderline "elective" conditions that have been outright prevented from healthcare services. The missed annual exams, mammograms, prostate checks, A1C follow ups (blood sugar not Airman), derm screens, etc., etc., etc., etc.
Life is not without risk. Life should not be without personal responsibility, no matter how certain segments of our utterly fractured society say differently. If someone is "vulnerable" (self-inflicted or not), circle the wagons and THEY can wear a mask, THEY can shutter their business, THEY can take all the precautions reasonable and necessary, but we must not stand for the wholesale damage and destruction to those with risks no greater than what is experienced day to day by just "being".
Go Canes (on the big screen evidently vs in the stands).
