I suggested that if we were to loose to BC that for the next 4 games we should play Jarren Williams so that his first taste of action isn't against what will be a really good defense in Florida next year assuming he wins the job (then again we handle this QB position like amateurs.

Richt doesn't trust Perry, clearly. We've all had enough of Rosier. He. Can't. Play, but Richt will continue to hope and wish and Pray that Malik becomes Tom Brady. Weldon will be kicked off the team before you know it at this rate so we can't rely on him to be our starter.

Our defense was exposed against the run. Who knew? Crazy part is earlier today I found out that Miami was 45th against P5 teams against the run that just let's you know just how much Toledo, SSU, and FIU boosted our run defense statistic to be 11th headed into this game.

This defense isn't elite. I was hoping it was but we can't maintain the edge. Setting the edge is like step 1 to becoming an elite defense. Tackle, Set the edge. There you go that's step 1 and 2 of becoming a elite defense. Our LB's are dirt slow sideline to sideline which is why I kept saying we need to stop recruiting these "big hitters" in HS because you have to RUN in this defense. LBs like Romeo Finely are the type of LBs we need to recruit going forward, big fast safeties that can converted to LB.

I made a post about running more 3-4 defensive fronts to help our defense in run defense and the little we did run it, it stuffed the run. No I'm not saying go to a 3-4 defense I'm just saying it seems to help when we do it against physical teams like this.

I should also add that I've been saying since the of last off-season that if Rosier started we would go 8-4 and we're on course for it. Of course, I got down voted to oblivion. I kept telling people you can only be so lucky so many times in a row before it runs out and boy did it run out starting with Pitt last year. Rosier for the 1st 11 starts (Yes I include the 2015 start vs Duke) He was EXTREMELY lucky so of course everything was going to crash and burn at some point.

I wish the 10-1 season didn't happen. Don't get me wrong it was fun at the time but all it did was create this thinking that Richt was going to take us to the promise land and secure Richt in for the next 5 years to run Miami like a 1 star family owned restaurant. Banner won't mean jack when the BoT take a good look at that buyout number, that's for sure.

Remember it took people above Richt to force him to change and I doubt we have the balls to say anything. Richt's buyout is to high so no way we will fire him in the near future.

2 weeks for the same ole garbage offense, I’m sorry but I can’t/won’t invest any more time on this team until Richt is gone

This is a 5 loss type team in year 3? How does UM feel this is even remotely acceptable?

I’m actually done with the administration. If they don’t make football a top priority I will never give a penny to anything UM related.

We need an elite staff from top to bottom and we need to pay recruits. If we don’t those 2 things we will always be mediocre.

We are going to lose a few more games and Rick better solve this issue fast or he is going to lose not only the fans but the remaining recruits as well. No one wants to play in this garbage offense and btw pretty much no one is interested in playing on Manny’s D as well. It’s bad now but the wheels will really come off fast and furiously unless major changes are made.

Rick has to know that his son can’t coach QBs and it appears in all honesty he can’t coach QBs as well. Maine James isn’t telling Rick what to do we know he isn’t a true AD.
 
Good points on the defense. It's good but not elite. The numbers are in large part a product of the pathetic schedule.
 
This team shot it’s wad in the Shock at the Rock against FSU. High water mark for the season. Ironic that the team that won that game would go into a tailspin when traditionally it’s been the opposite. Anyone who took off their orange and green glasses saw last night coming. I too thought BC would win. The only surprise to me was BC’s creativity on offense on those first 3 drives. It was brilliant. Mannys defense looked like they were chasing flies with chopsticks. After UVA I thought they’d win 2 games, tops. I don’t even know about that. This team is reeling. I don’t think the offense is capable of scoring more than 16 points against any of our remaining opponents. Most maddening was Richts halftime quote about not needing explosive plays.SMDH I feel bad for the team.
 
I assume we will win at least one more game to become bowl eligible but even that isn’t a definite.
 
I had a game last night and only got to see a few small parts of the game on my phone before my game.

Man this sh-t hurts

Our run defense has been abysmal dating back to at least last year. I think we were just overlooking it because of how atrocious the offense has been.

It’s true though, who needs explosive plays when your offense is already explosive diarrhea??
