Yeah it ended bad no doubt but we still accomplished some goals
beat 3 of our top 4 rivals
Blew out a top 3 team in Notre Dame 41-8
Beat fsu after not beating them in 7 years with Rosier...
Beat va tech 28-10
Won the coastal

Must remember playing 11 straight weeks took a toll on the team and we went 10-2 with literally no depth at rb and tight end.

We’re missing a bunch of key weapons on offense too vs clemson

Build more depth for next year and we will be fine

Probably the best thing Brock has ever posted. Now hold on to the class and find an elite OT.

I would have taken these results in a heartbeat prior to the season starting.
Couple that with the disarray of our two biggest rivals and It's Great To Be....

Winner winner chicken dinner

CMR gets mucho respect for this season. If someone had told all of us in August than Rosier would start every game, Walton would miss almost every game, and Richards would almost be a non- factor, we all would have said 8 wins best case. Pulling out 10 was a minor miracle.

Future is bright.

Pretty much this

10 wins with 73 scholarship players, our two best offensive weapons hurt or hobbled most of the year (3 once Herndon went down) and the most limited Miami QB since Frank Costa nearly setting TD records. True freshmens playing key roles on both sides of the ball and a punter who makes Charlie Brown look like Jeff Feagles... senior.

**** of a season.

If someone told you before the season started that we would

Beat FSU
Dominate ND
Beat VT
Win the Coastal Division
And most likely play in the Orange Bowl

Everybody who knows anything woulda said, that’s a **** of a season in year two.

I think this staff and team did a great job getting to 10 wins. It will only get better

Finally some sanity from our fan base. Some disappointments sure, but overall this team overachieved beyond anything we realistically expected at the seasons beginning. I'm actually looking forward optimistically to next year for the first time in several seasons and trusting we will continue to get stronger and deeper. The future is bright.

Positive posts that are realistic "we back?" Not quite yet - we on the road? Yup, looks that way to me, and apparently many others. CANES FOREVER!

I won't call us a mirage or overrated , more ahead of schedule. At no point did I feel like we were a legit top 5-8 team. It was just an easy schedule , mixed with some luck and our toughest games were at home. Night games in a special environment, doubtful that anybody beats us those nights , especially Nd.

Even with the easy schedule it's amazing we won ten games with awful ol and qb play, so there's a positive.

Next year I expect to repeat 10 wins and a coastal division, but anything more depends on the young ol and Perry .

This team hit all of our goals ( another positive), It just sucks we'll probably end on a 2-3 gm losing streak. But I think we're definitely heading in right direction.

Very good post. We were never a legitimate top 5-8 team but naturally nobody wants to hear that. I was posting on other sites that once we lost it would be a drubbing, but mostly I stayed away from here because there's always the nonsense that preseason ratings don't matter, etc.

I was hoping we'd somehow continue to defy logic, and our roster.

If we want to become a true top 5-8 program and stay there we need to be rated there in preseason. The preseason ratings have far greater truth toward postseason reality than regular season results. I posted the related study last night but believe me that link is only a partial story. The author did not take it nearly far enough.

You've rustled my jimmies over the years but you're right more than wrong,

As I get older i get more realistic with what I see, there was lots of delusion here especially leading into the Clemson game. That's why I didn't post about the outcome or chances. I actually told Indyarthauz all year it was an awful matchup. I expected it to be ugly. They're just on another level as a program.

So I don't get ripping the staff , they overachieved . The talent and depth just isn't there yet. We need two more classes to be at a " Miami level".

But don't get it twisted , we comin!!

Not sure I trust this sequence of reasonableness on this board, in a thread started by Brock. To hedge my bets.....**** You Broke!
