Searles was bad at Texas, then even worse at VA Tech, and now its basically a comedy show here.

His oline was giving up 7 sasck games at VTech, no idea why he was qualified to be the coach here.
When we really break it down, how many of our coaches are qualified to be here? And the Diaz love has gone over the top for me. Jury is still out on him. Our defense has looked pedestrian plenty of games.

Have you watched Tennessee this year? Worse offensive line than Miami..

That's not really the point. We all know Tennessee was a dumpster fire that couldn't find a head coach before the season started.

I was just answering a question. Callaway and Friend are two guys who have worked under Richt as O Line coaches and who also have experience as offensive coordinators.

His guys? Tyree, Baloney, Gauthier? Those are not his guys.

Next year we should see massive improvement or Richt should can his ***'.

Scaife Reed Gaynor Donaldson Hillery. Our interior will be badass.

Those may not be "his guys" but the fact is none (including "his guys" - aka: Donaldson & Scaife) have good technique. All of them suffer from leaning forward to block (leading to being off balance which is huge), not bending the knees, not setting a good solid base, and not driving. They also allow the front 7 to get "under their pads" and get leverage. O-line is all about balance, footwork, and leverage. Our line rarely displays these techniques. When your first step is wrong, you are stood up, loose leverage, and stop moving your feet you have try to out muscle the D-lineman and you will lose that battle 75%+ times. O-line is one of the most complicated, hardest positions to learn and teach. You really have to be a good teacher and technician to be successful - OR you need to have amazing 5* talent in your 2 deep. IMHO Searls is neither a good teacher nor a technician. And we don't have 5* talent in our 2 deep. I wasn't impressed with him at VaTech and his work at UGA was somewhat hidden due to some real talent in their line (sound familiar?). To me the offense has LOTS of problems. But those problems would probably be masked pretty well if we had a really good line. With Searls as our line coach, we will continue to struggle. With or without "his guys".

Stoutland did a pretty good job with the Golden girls. I’d have kept him. I’d hire him back if at all possible.

The only point you proved is YES it CAN be done. That's not the standard I want for the program.
