Searles

Kehoe always tried to recruit scrappy, undersized guys like him. Unfortunately most don't turn out like K.C. Jones or Brett Romberg and you wind up with a lot more duds that don't have heart.

Never understand why Miami can't go into the Midwest and lure away some future Big Ten studs that would enjoy getting out of the snow for some fun, sun and girls in bikinis. Shouldn't be that hard of a sales pitch.
Yeah we stole Zach Dystra from Iowa. How has he been down here.

You feel free to look at our tackle depth. While I look at that, look at the prospects who have come out of miami, broward, palm beaches etc(our recruiting base) any of the surrounding areas richt would let us focus on and tell me where there is room for improvement from some huge country ***(like Jethro bodine level of country)white dude to hit on elite or even **** good prospects(while ur at it throw in the kids who wanted a pay day too.) If I'm not being clear I'll spell it out for u. I dont care if jesus is our offensive line coach. If jesus is told to recruit oline out of this area he will NEVER succeed on consistent basis. 9.9 kids out of this area are severely undersized as oline and they soft. Dont have that kind of grit that nesta does and the ones that do have small arms etc. Kids with the build we need to really succeed dont come from this climate. If what I'm saying doesnt compute I dont know what to tell you. Just look at the schools that consistently have good oline play. Several common factors. #1 they spend what's necessary on any national recruits. #2 they focus on big *** corn fed country boys(like searles and what he relates to obviously). On top of all that searles is very direct and didnt sugar coat ****. These kids want their hands pat while they're corrected. They wanna be coddled.

FACTS

Brother I respect your opinion so I'm not gonna argue about this. As I've stated numerous times I'm not aware of the intricacies of the offensive line. Dont know **** about it. So I take the word of numerous people I know who all initially had glowing revues of him and spoke so highly. The amusing part is two of those individuals now have so much negative to say in bmac & joachin. Both told me to my face about him. The other side of the coin applies to the coaches yall gave so much credit to. Like banda his unit did good so he must be a great coach. Problem is I know the man and hes a simpleton. A ****** moron who dont know **** about football. Literally his room goes to rumph for coaching & advice. Yet all the same experts say rumph is a ****eater who doesnt deserve a job. If it wasnt for Mike this scheme would never work as this staff is built. Same token applies how everyone said Malik broke all the records,he is this he is that yet same people say how horrible that moron lil Johnny is. Not saying it's not accurate that hes a moron and simpleton. But it's the same arguement. It is a team game for a reason.

FACTS

Since u say this & U know football I'll have this conversation with u brother. Realizing where we insist on focusing our recruiting budget & deployment of such assets, what kid FROM THIS AREA isn't a project as a tackle (on either side of the ball)? This area we focus on specializes in fast twitchy undersized kids... when is that ever a good strategy for interior line play? It is the sole reason ALL of our tackles are projects outside of average coaching. You can also factor into it the coaching at the high school level here as every position at majority of schools has coaches unqualified for the positions they are at. See the theme here? Personally as long as we focus on florida kids at the line were gonna be average at best. But I'd settle for an average oline right now

Florida kids or South Florida kids?

I mean Dugans didn’t develop anybody last year or the previous year in 2017 so its premature to make a comment like that. Let’s let this year play out a little bit man lol. In regards to recruiting that remains to be seen too tbh but I like who we have committed right now and especially like how Stubblefield pulled Michael Redding.

I know This reservation of Stubblefield probably stems from tate playing over our other receivers game 1(hope it doesn’t happen again and I definitely don’t agree with that approach) but pretty sure manny Diaz loves tate martell and has some influence over who plays in that room ultimately. So I’m not faulting Stubblefield much on that decision tbh. I do hope that gets fixed soon and the guys behind the starters are given a chance to produce.
The reservations about Stubblefield come from his weak prior track record as a recruiter at his prior stops. This is by far his most high-profile position, so it will say a lot about his ability to evaluate and sell.

you think our WR rotation had any impact on us losing that game?
To be clear nah. I dont at all think it harmed us much considering how the game was going. However it certainly didnt help us. From jarrens own mouth he was having trouble picking up the recievers. Is 4 recievers all 6ft or under who arent physical enough to block optimal to any game plan we can put out? Personally I'd say no. I'd say that if my nephew was under 6 ft too. But whatever.

Yet some porsters will die on the Panda > Ed Reed hill. That bartender is given way too much credit. Recruiting whiffs and can't coach. Guy gets embarrassed year round. Tweeting at recruits like Stevenson about Making the crib great when he was clearly bagged up. Looks desperate and pathetic. Panda shouldn't have a job here, spot should have been used for a ST coach. Mike is holding it down. He's our best coach... his recruiting will come around and last year's pull gave me hope for him.
Banda is a corch

You have a point but man, I'm amazed at how good of blockers Thomas and Harley are. Thsoe 2 are tiny but they get after it. All the WRs, really, are lights out blockers.
