I would love Alex to come he is a really good coach and an excellent recruiter. Alex was nominated as top Oline coach 3 years ago while he was at Marshall and he was offered by Big Division 1 programs over the last two years and turned it down. He did interview for the UM OL position coaching job in Jan of 2016 and Richt went with Searles. Alex loves Oregon, and is very loyal to Mario I highly doubt he would even interview for the Miami job if it was open.

I think searles is not our weakest link, JR is. MR took the job of Head coach, OC and assistant QB coach so he could give his son the title of QB coach in training. Now he stuck with the excrement he created. If we had a real OC/QB coach the deficiencies of our line would be less noticable

I agree the oline when it was zone blocking was terrible. Down hill we were fine.

Normally I would oppose letting a coach go when we are hot on the trail trying to land a Neal...

But this might help us with bringing in a more competent coach to help ease any fears of being coached by a dope like Cereal

I never realized how tiny he is. It is hilarious that someone who clearly never played OL is an elite OL coach. It is also bizaare that he only coaches C and Gs, no Ts. I guess it is is because cristobal coaches the Ts.
