I don’t read Fermans comment as saying Jefferson got the job. He said “Jefferson is filling the role now. There has been no formal announcement yet.” He was responding to a question asking what names were being considered and when would an announcement be made. I take it that Jefferson is acting CB coach and they haven’t announced who it is yet.

Exactly my thinking, especially for a lateral move. Would like it, just don’t see it. I believe UO has started spring practice too.
