I don’t read Fermans comment as saying Jefferson got the job. He said “Jefferson is filling the role now. There has been no formal announcement yet.” He was responding to a question asking what names were being considered and when would an announcement be made. I take it that Jefferson is acting CB coach and they haven’t announced who it is yet.

Today’s the day. I can feel it in my bones
I was gonna suggest artritis....i feel it too!Perhaps that is the cold front that has hit the eastern coast. Try wrapping in a blanket, but do keep us posted.............
Him randomly saying this is interesting, would be crazy if we plucked him from OregonRashad Wadood from Oregon is still under consideration for DB coach per Gaby
Wadood:
FootballScoop is proud to announce that Chris Hampton and Rashad Wadood (Oregon) are the 2025 FootballScoop Defensive Backs Coaches of the Year presented by Teamworks as selected by prior winners.
Wadood, an Eastern Washington graduate, joined the Oregon staff in 2022 as director of community engagement before moving to a graduate assistant role in 2024. He was promoted to cornerbacks coach ahead of this season.
Sounds like a strong candidate.
Why would he leave that program to UM, especially since he's a West coast guy?
