just an idea, could we steal a head coach at the lower levels for our TE coach? Provide someone a Willie Simmons at Duke type year to jump up to FBS Head Coach. My mind goes to Chennis Berry, but was wondering if we’d even consider that type of path.

Derek Mason as the cornerbacks/passing game coordinator coach and Hue Jackson as TE coach; albeit, the latter has no TE coaching experience but I’d assume his rb coaching experience could ease the transition.

Yeah, buddy, that's some "brilliant ensemble playing" of Collins and Stuermer. Particularly since it's not a Genesis song, but a song off of Phil's second solo album.

I've had a lifelong battle as to whether I prefer "In The Air Tonight" or "I Don't Care Anymore" as my favorite Phil Collins SOLO song...

Based on Miami Vice and the University of Miami, I have to give the edge to "In The Air Tonight", though I prefer the lyrics to "I Don't Care Anymore".

Do NOT get me started on Gated Reverb, as invented by Hugh Padgham and Steve Lillywhite, and used extensively by Phil Collins on his own recordings, as well as Phil's drumming contributions to other artists such as Peter Gabriel (solo, starting with "Intruder") and Frida (solo, "I Know There's Something Going On").

Duane Akina, 2025 longhorns defensive passing game coordinator, was demoted to make way for WIll Muschamp two decades ago, and this go around he was fired for relatively the same reason. He worked in the secondary with Orphey; who now has a new boss in former Longhorns DC Blake Gideon who takes over the secondary.

Mark and Hetherman worked together at Rutgers, and I can see the changing cast setting a good time for him to bounce outta Austin.

A guy like him will never be a position coach again, coordinator maybe.

Usually they enjoy the buyout money while doing an analyst/off field job just like the one Stoops got at Texas (and Patterson before him).

I recall Phil crediting that “Intruder” drum technique on influencing the drum track on “In the Air Tonight”.

This guy also played and coached under Schiano and was recently hired by Satterfield at Cincy.
