Gets the start today against the Jets @LILB due to the injury to Ryan Shazier. What a remarkable recovery from that horrific knee injury. Go get em Sean!!!

I love Spence.

Shazier..another recruiting disaster. Similar to Skai and Kilby Lane

Yep, another $uckeye bust at linebacker...Maybe he can follow in the footsteps of other underperforming O$Uck alum LBs who throw unsuspecting golfers into water traps or who tackle a drunk Danny Noonan Caddy scholorship winner during a game...

yeah i'm not sure if it's bc he's too heavy for his frame or the knee injuries or a combination of the two but he does not play fast like he did in college. and seems to play timid too which i'm certain is because of his injuries.

Could it be that he's playing in the NFL and everyone is also faster? He ran a 4.71 at the combine, so it's not like he was blazing fast to begin with.

Prior to the knee injury, he looked pretty solid. I know it was only preseason, but he was picking up the D rather quickly. I think such a catastrophic injury really sapped him of some burst. He's been up and down, missed some tackles, but also made some good plays on the ball. At this point, he's a good backup / fill-in starter, which is a pretty positive outcome after that kind of injury.

I hope he stays healthy and gets back to form. I would LOVE to see him as a pro bowler 1 day.
