Sean Payton

I agree but as a Viking fan,I can tell you that we will go as far as Cousins takes us.
Happy for Cousins today but he can be inaccurate at times. Having Cook healthy helps him.
And hopefully Mackenzie Alexander comes back healthy. Sendejo in the slot is not a good idea. Where was Jayron Kearse?

Not sure it’s Payton that is totally the problem even though he tries to get cute too much in the red zone which leads to waaaaay to many FG every game.

Payton is joined at the hip to a 40 year old QB who has lost a TON of arm strength. There was a reason he was next to Payton when that long pass was called. When Brees tries to throw the ball over 35-40 yds the ball floats.

They should have left Hill in the game cause the OLine looked liked the UofM Oline had taken over for the Saints Oline for the day. With Hill in the game the Vikings couldn’t have just pinned their ears back and blitzed every play.Hill would have taken off if they had.

As a Saints fan I appreciate all that Brees and Payton have done for the franchise and the city.Without both the Saints are probably in San Antonio now.But its time for Brees to retire cause just like Brady they are past their prime. Hopefully he does but I have a feeling ego will take over and he will be back And I doubt Payton has the balls to sit him in favor of someone else whether it be Teddy B ,Tayson Hill or someone else.

He created that guy. Go look at brees in sad then get back to me. He took a guy that had an average arm ( before injury ) a noodle arm after and made a hofer. Brees is very accurate but couldn’t play in a lot of nfl system when he drove in NO.
He fell into the right man's lap it's a good fit together. Brees is smart af and that system is great for him.

Yes fam, I hope Alexander can be ready for next game. Sendejo not good in the slot but is savvy guy Zimmer likes.
Kearse has some issues going on, I believe he recently had a DUI.

Bill and the patriots have ppl calling Brees and Payton overrated..you not gonna make playoff runs every year. Getting there is challenging enough.. the fact he always has this team in contention puts him in elite company. There’s only 3 teams that every year u can bank on being in the convo, pats, Seahawks, Saints..Steelers led by Tomlin up there too

I think Payton is well thought of and respected, but I don't think he gets an unfair amount of credit. Brees is always mentioned before him when people talk about the Saints' accomplishments. For a coach whose team is consistently a playoff team and conference contender, I'd say the credit Payton gets is in line with what he deserves.

saints get tired of losing in the playoffs, fire Sean and the cowboys hire sean? c'mon NFL make some excitement in these coaching searches.

Carroll is a top-shelf but explain not running Marshawn Lynch on the NE 2 yard line in the last minute of the SB? Seattle choked a 10 point lead in the 4th quarter. USC choked the NC game to Texas.
And JJ kept letting Vinny throw int after int to lose a NC. Yet he is a great coach (greatest college to pro coach).
