McElroy is solid.

But not sure why ESPN pays for a color commentator or an officiating analyst when McDonough is in the booth for a college football game.

Instead of focusing on his play by play role, he insists on injecting his opinion into every single element of the broadcast. Basically the grumpy old ******* unwilling or incapable of STFU who sucks any joy out of the broadcast

Wtf? This douche nozzle spent the entire 91 championship game, trying to undermine UM for Washington.
You have long memory, am impressed. I forget what I eat for breakfast.

McDonough is a talented play by play guy. He's no Ian Eagle but he's good enough.

(Obviously am pro-McDonough cause he spent time in my hometown of Syracuse, which is the greatest city in the world, even more beautiful than Gary, Indiana)
