I been said that Cantwell would start at guard day 1 then move to tackle the following year. I was shocked when he was out at tackle day 1 of spring practice. He walked in the doors first day as probably the strongest dude on the team! But I thought it would take him some time until he could deal with speed rushers. They don’t got those dudes in Nixa. But I’m much more okay with two true freshmen playing at guard. Because they’ll have veterans to the left and right of them. At tackles they’re on an island.

Samson has the really quick feet for a big man. He needs to be at left tackle. But Samson missed the Spring so Cantwell worked at LT and got that experience if we need him due to injury or some such factor. But if Samson is healthy he needs to play left tackle. No one is getting past him on the blindside.

They will absolutely have another scrimmage. No program has 1 scrimmage in the entirety of camp.

Our O-line is carved out for the next 2-3 years with the freshman class coming in and already showing signs of growth so early on.
