So yeah, not the same
There are some smartarses on here - shame they all come across as twats.

Please point out where my statement was incorrect. At no point did I refer to this event on Saturday as a spring game.

Last 3 years we haven’t had our spring game on tv and it’s stupid as ****. Barely any footage from practices too. Hope that changes in the future under Diaz especially not having a televised spring game
The 30 second highlights clip from practice are literally pointless. I feel sorry for the media team that have to film, produce and promote them.

It’s good brand exposure . The Clemson spring game was one big *** 3 hour commercial for their program.

USC , South Carolina, LSU ..and that was just me randomly flipping on the TV.

Clemson made the game into an event- honored their NC team, gave out rings etc. and they had 60K+ fans in the seat.

I couldn’t be home to watch but from comments I read last night most of those other schools mentioned had a fairly sparse crowd.

I’d rather not put empty seats on tv.... we are always trying to get past that knock during the regular season.

Most of the coverage was actually really cool. While it did include the events you mentioned , majority of it was Herbstreit and Joey Galloway on the field corresponding live with Dabob& coaching staff to gain their perspective on what’s happening on the field , particular plays & personnel and the program as a whole.

We could greatly benefit from such exposure and coverage .

I will be irritated if they don’t show the Spring Game in 2020 when our offense has already established an identity. But I have no problem making it harder for Mullen to figure out what Enos has up his sleeves. With an entirely new offense, the Canes are going to force the Gators to game plan based on old film from Bama, Arkansas and Central Michigan.

With the Acc nextwork coming on board in August all the spring games games will be aired.

☆ Mark Pope is going to have a breakout year, just wait on it
☆ Tate & KJ seem to have a lot of chemistry
☆ the offense will look totally different depending on who wins the QB battle
☆ Tate only got to showcase 50% of his game

I’ve railed on UM for running their practices like they are taking place just outside of Pyongyang, but I am more sympathetic here because it’s the first scrimmage. They didn’t even know if the QBs would be live for most of the week, and by all accounts this was a soft scrimmage.

Now if our spring game isn’t televised I’ll be the first to enlist for the reunification of the peninsula.
Well at least go back to the 38th parallel - the DMZ is totally crooked. Draw a straight line for god's sake!

Lol....FSUs Spring game had MAYBE 500 people...and I'm being generous...

James Blackmon threw for 400 yds and 4 tds...saw a video of highlights...looks like either

A) Their defense is ******* sorry as ****
B) Taggart told them to back off a bit to make Blackmon look good.
