Scrimmage highlights

Everyone else has their spring game on TV. The Canes treat their practices like it's a national secret.

It's quite amusing at this point.
Last 3 years we haven’t had our spring game on tv and it’s stupid as ****. Barely any footage from practices too. Hope that changes in the future under Diaz especially not having a televised spring game

The last spring game that was "televised" was in 2016. It was streaming only. Richt's first year. It was at Lockhart because Hard Rock or whatever it was called at the time was in use. Richt didn't like the look of that so he didn't televise in 2017 which wasn't at the stadium either. They didn't even call it a spring game. We had access to the stadium in 2018 and it still wasn't televised. No idea the reason.
I don't remember that or I would have watched, I went to the one at Oxbridge High School. Still, it's like our program is classified by the government.....lol

Won’t get a better barometer of what any of the qbs can do unless they are going against our top crop of defenders in spring. Yes kosi has a nice day but as we saw from that video 2 tds 105 yards came against a group of what looked like 3rd team dbs/walkons outside of the pope clip with most notably Derrick smith.
Fall camp will tell it all when we add the next talented crop of dbs so that the receivers are being constantly challenged instead of going against walk ons

You realize the majority of CFB teams don't televise their spring games? And not sure it's worth televising and showing that empty *** stadium either just to satisfy a few whining fans on the internet. Go in person if you want to see it that bad.

That's ridiculous as numerous schools televise their game and not just a stream either. I've watched freaking Montana State or something like that on ESPN but we can't see ****. Not everyone lives down here and not everyone can go.

It’s good brand exposure . The Clemson spring game was one big *** 3 hour commercial for their program.

USC , South Carolina, LSU ..and that was just me randomly flipping on the TV.

Yea, but when we have 10k fans in the stadium it just doesn't make sense to do it. Probably makes it easy to negative recruit as well. Clemson is coming off a national title, and South Carolina and LSU have rabid fanbases. Miami isn't packing out Hard Rock for a spring game with the current state of the program. I don't think that it's a bad idea forever, but I'm not in huge disagreement right now. Our spring game isn't a big draw for our fans right now.

**** even Clemson spring game wasn’t packed and the just won the national title, 2 in the last 3 years. FSU spring game assuredly wasn’t packed either. I get The concern but it is what it is, no one is expecting a spring game to be packed full of fans, most of the recruits know how the atmosphere is in a legit game at hard rock stadium

It wont we have a lazy *** media team. 30 seconds clip. Only thing we can do is complain.

In addition to that the Only person who attempts to even post media clips from practice with the access they do get is the guy from footballvillenation on YouTube or i believe canesport on periscope. Rest of the reporters don’t even seem to bother with doing it

Clemson had around 60k in their stadium lol. FSU was pretty bad as well. I think they had around 50k last year and reported 27k this year, but it looked to be even less than that. I get it, but I just don't think this is worth the energy people are putting towards it.

We all know it wasn’t the best 55 seconds but I did notice Smith and Pick with a nice tackle for a loss. To me Smith needs to make a move and pass Knolwes as the 4th S behind, Carter, Hall, Bolden.
Solid 4 man S rotation.

I will be irritated if they don’t show the Spring Game in 2020 when our offense has already established an identity. But I have no problem making it harder for Mullen to figure out what Enos has up his sleeves. With an entirely new offense, the Canes are going to force the Gators to game plan based on old film from Bama, Arkansas and Central Michigan.

On the bright side, in these highlights, it showed Perry throwing 3 TD's, to 3 different weapons (it was reported that he only had 2 TD's). The ones to Njoku and Mallory were when he was under duress. The other one was Pope doing his thing. I'm not sure if only showing Perry's TD's in that clip is by design, but out of all the negative things that we heard yesterday about the scrimmage, at least this is a positive sign.
