Just took a closer look at the completed passes in that clip, and most of them are from Shirreffs. Some even, oh the horror, down the field! All of them were hitting guys in stride. What an absolute scrub.

You've got better eyes than me. I can't tell **** from that 52 second highlights clip.

Wait, I thought rosier transferred out after last spring because he was 6th on the depth chart! From what I've seen from our coach they coach the kids personalities. Last summer they killed pro Corn Elder in the media, he had a huge year. This year, they have consistently beat up Malik and the short yard stuff...would not be surprised if smith have a nice year playing both ways. young man looks so much better physically this year.
I hope your correct

So Malik Rosier goes 17-25 260 yards 2 TD 1 INT vs the 1st team defense? And nobody is whinning about the defense? Interesting.

It was against the #2 defense, perry took reps against the 1s

It is nowhere near that cut and dried. All you have to do is look at the highlights and see at different points that 1s and 2s were mixed in with each other. That's the case for both sides of the ball.

It's not but that's who they primarily worked against. They weren't doing 1 vs 1s and rozier and sherrifs only worked with the 1st team so what does that tell you

Tells me you guys are goofy and still grasping at straws to discredit Shirreffs and Rosier. Do you dolts really think the 2nd team D played 60 snaps, and the first team D played about 20?

Just look at the QB stats. Perry and Weldon didn't get many reps. Shirreffs and Rosier got a ton of reps. There's no way that Shirreffs and Rosier only faced 2nd team guy's and Perry and Weldon only faced 1s. It had to be a lot of mixing and subbing.

LMFAO at "james coley has as good a track record as an QB coach in the country."

Ponder, Manuel and Kaaya is a pretty f'ing good track record.

Lmao no it's not

Name me 5 OC's with a better three in a row trio. Or 1. Should be easy if the thought makes you laugh right away.

Id like to start w Jimbo Fisher

Ok, that's half the question. What was the trio?

"Richt didn't want Weldon or Perry taking snaps with the 1s because he felt having QBs who knew what they were doing was best for that unit to get some consistency. I don't think he believes Perry is even ready to operate an offense against Cookman right now."

That was you yesterday. Now suddenly it's not that "cut and dried" and that 1s and 2s were mixed all scrimmage.

Do you get off on lying or are you that inherently biased that you actually believe the nonsense you post on here?

I see you calling me stupid for saying Perry wouldn't win the job hasn't made you any less prone to saying dumb crap without anything real to back it up.

Richt said yesterday that Perry and Weldon didn't run with the 1s on offense because he wanted those guys to be with QBs that knew what they were doing. If you look at the highlights, Shirreffs is with the #2 OL and Rosier is completing balls to backup WRs against Young and McCloud is on the field as well. In the Perry clips that hit twitter he's going against the #2 DL and backup LBs.

So no it wasn't straight forward 1s vs 2s and 2s vs 1s. That doesn't mean Perry got to work with the 1s. It also doesn't mean that all he saw was Shaq, McCloud, Norton and RJ McIntosh.

But enough about yesterday continue to explain to me how the game has changed and non EE true freshmen QBs are starting more and more often and Miami won't be any different.

I actually formed an opinion. All you did was parrot what you read from "insiders"

"The other two guys suck so Perry has to win it"

Lol you continue to dance in circles. I called you stupid for failing to grasp why people thought Perry would win the job this season (you still seem to be struggling with it). I underestimated Malik, by all accounts and from the scrimmages I watched he has stepped up a ton from spring, where he was not good. And yet there's still talks within the team that it's a matter of when, not if this season Perry will start.

I form my opinions from what I saw in Spring scrimmages, you know in person whereas you constantly create unfounded conjecture in your head, and from the feedback I get from people connected to the program. Because it goes back to everything I've said all summer, his talent is on another level compared to Malik and Evan, and it's not close. The only thing that will bridge the learning gap is snaps, so if you want to stick to Richt not thinking he's ready to go against Bethune I'll just laugh.

But continue to tell us more about what's going on at practices you're not at, at scrimmages you haven't attended, and from conversations with people connected to the team that you don't know.

Really all you have to have done is watch any football to know that is wasn't gonna be static teams throughout the scrimmage. Saying that Rosier and Shirreffs went against the 2s and Perry had to go against the 1s is not the whole story and there is visual evidence to prove that.

Richt said this yesterday "Perry has bright moments but then he'll do stuff that will get you beat". Doesn't give him any snaps with the #1 offense either. Clearly that is a coach who doesn't think Perry is ready to operate his offense RIGHT NOW. In two weeks? Maybe.

I grasped why people thought that Perry would win it. I didn't agree with it. My main question was, "How quickly would Perry be able to pick up the offense?" As it turns out pretty much every player and coach has said some variation of "he's still learning"

All those connections to people close to the program and all those scrimmages watched and yet still completely off base. Sure my conjecture was unfounded. I just had the history of college football to look into and back me up. You chose to go with the "our guy is different because he's our guy" line of thinking.

Nah, I just slowed it down and saw it was him making the passes. Had it been Perry, I'd have done the same thing. Unlike you, I don't trash certain players because I have an agenda. I want them ALL to succeed. Maybe if people weren't bashing him relentlessly, people like me wouldn't have to step up and defend him.

Whatever you say, Mr.s Perry.

I've said from the beginning Rosier was going to start and is who I prefer to start at this point. Nice try tho

Mike Pinckney with the INT on Rosier. As well as a PBU on N'kosi.
