SCRIMMAGE 2

Nice to see our QB's end up with decent numbers without their All-American WR. Sounds like the starting o-line had a pretty good day, 2nd string about what we'd expect going up against a wrecking crew. And Dean with a FF is a positive development.

The Franchise @OriginalCanesCanes @Southcane @blackvern & few others (sorry for forgetting) were all right from the jump on Rosier.
Props to you guys & everyone else who have been high on Rosier.

I went back & forth all offseason with this QB race, when Pete said Perry would start back in January I didn't think it was possible, but as time went on it seemed like it could based on everything we would here from the insiders.

At the end of day, Richt can't force a TF QB to be the starter if he ain't ready. Rosier been here for 4 years, it's either now or never with him.

If he can stay consistent & not turn the ball over too much it makes sense to let him basically play his Senior season (I know he's a Red Junior) out while Perry gets ready for next year.

Unless Rosier is just terrible vs FSU, he'll be the starter for the whole season & I'm good with that, he has the opportunity to finally help us win the Coastal... I'm in 100% support of him, lets ride!

Thats whats up Liberty City El... I dont think he is ultra talented... but he has that "it" and can make the big throw.... He will throw some picks but he is a gamer and can make the big play.. He can pick up 3rd down conversions with his legs... I dont think he will be compelting 65% of his passes but he will make the play when he has too. His success will be totally on the OC putting him in positions to succeed... We willl see what these coaches do mane.. i am stoked for the sseason

Fuq it then if Malik takes it then he takes it. Im a Perry guy but Im ok with Malik im not OK with Evan

Malik has "it"? The guy won 5 games in high school and couldn't win the starting job until 3 weeks of fall practice. You call him a gamer than add qualifier that it is on OC to out him in position to succeed? Weak **** man.

Hold the fuvk up. Did I just hear that clearly?

Richt @ 1:50 "Joe Jackson had 6 tackles, 5 of them were sacks"

Edit: 11 sacks total is what I counted

Double either of Malik or Evan stats from today against any team on our schedule and I don't see us losing.

They both had great scrimmages.

Holy fack we might be Bayk

He's 6'1 not 6'4 unless your drew brees you're gonna need to run some plays for him to get him out of the pocket is it that hard to understand?.. He has strengths and weaknesses OC will have to play to his strengths. Dude made big plays in the one time he played for us.. He led us to a scoring drive to put us in the lead against Duke if i recall correctly then the defense gave up a TD

Suprised nobody freaking out about secondary. Seem like alot of significant gains (avg per catch) given up. But who knows who it was against or the situation.... So whatever.

***** RS on Perry. Give him reps in 2H of first two games, help him get ready if needed. I doubt we ride one QB all season.

It was presumably against the 2s.

One thing that Diaz said on SiriusXM yesterday was (I'm paraphrasing) the defense can be great, but it depends on an unknown - the CBs. Until real games, we don't know what we have. He had some positive things to say about Delaney.

He also told a story about last year. Early on, the CBs (he named Corn) weren't great tacklers. But during one of the practices, Jaquan laid someone out hard and set the tone. From that moment on, it became a competition to see who can get the next big hit.

Listening to Manny furthered my impression that Dean is a poor tackler. I think we will see Delaney and Young, with Bandy at nickel.

I'm telling yall Amari Carter is going to make serious noise this season, don't care where he's listed at on Depth Chart.

You simply cannot keep his IQ off the field. Kids like him who are ferocious tacklers & great in the classroom always come up when you need them the most.

I know he was playing with 2nd team Defense, but I definitely think he'll get in the Safety rotation this season.

Even next year when the 2018 kids get here, I think Amari will be a starter as a Sophomore, he's physically built & he diagnoses plays like an upperclassmen.

Frustrating to not have a goal line/short yardage option. May turn out to be our Achilles heel...

so that's a frustrating issue to you???? lmaoo man up with all this fake *** drama smh

How is it fake drama? It's one of our biggest challenges this year.

We've had a short yardage issue now for years, even when Mike James was here. Last time I felt good about 3rd downs was when Damien Berry was on the team, and that was only situational success. He got all his first downs in the second half of games when the opposing defenses were gassed. That won't cut it against FSU or Va Tech.
