SCRIMMAGE 2

I'm all about rosier and think he's the best option this season, but while he played well in the duke game, he didn't win the game for us. Love that game, love the ending, but I wouldn't count that as a feather in his hat either

For obvious reasons people forget how that game went leading up to the return. He led two 4th quarter scoring drives. We were up 12 with 8+ minutes to go. The offense was only on the field for another 3 plays after the FG that put us up 12. Long TD drive for Duke. Coley goes conservative and we go 3 and out. Another long TD drive for Duke, then the return. He did more than enough.

Nice you left out the INT in Q3 and his 13 yard scamper into our endzone late Q3 and grounding giving Duke a safety and lead.
And his 5 carries for -12 yards

Listen. He's done good in camp. But the Duke game is waaaaaayyyyyy overblown

You left out it was his first ever start. We were two score underdogs on the road and he was a QB for a program that was reeling.

The safety made the score 14-12. Miami up. Duke didn't lead until their final TD

I trust CMR's judgement and support whoever he thinks gives us the best chance to win. But contrary to what many people think in this thread, Evan is more athletic than Malik

Can you elaborate Austin?

I've heard Richt say in multiple interviews Evan is the most athletic qb

By no means is this a knock on Malik because he is a good athlete himself. I'd say Malik throws better on the run, but as far as getting yards with their legs, Evan was better my whole time at UM

Austin, what's your best guess as to how overall QB play this year will stack up vs last year?

Some of these guys here amaze me , it was " overblown ". Then dude proceeds to pick little negative bs out after dude played a good game. Especially for his first collegiate start ever. On the road.

Posters like that is who me and my friend refer to as " that guy". He poops on the positives then throws out all the negatives, but forgets ML played for an awful oc and a staff that was half way out the door.

It was impressive to me, especially with all the trash talk about him leading up to kickoff. Majority of the guys here said he was going to suck and we'd lose.

bad throw, shouldve been picked if redwine got his head around like he supposed to

I dont like Redwine at S still.......hoping Carter takes that spot

I have to agree here. Something about him doesn't scream Safety. Hope he proves me wrong. Always seemed like the perfect fit.

I'm the opposite , I always viewed him as safety. His build and style of play never looked like a cb.

No poster here will influence who the staff decides to start at QB. We all recognize how this staff has improved the program from it's influence on the administration, position coaches and most importantly recruiting. Now some want to leap frog the staff, without viewing a single practice or a got damned autograph session. These kids competed and if the staff determined Rozier is our best option at QB, then shut the ***** up and roll with it!
