Nebraska has looked worse than FSU the past two years, and he should be shown the door just like Taggart. Nebraska has been awful under Frost, and they’re getting worse week by week.

4-8 last year and on pace for a 4-8 record this year also, in year 2. He should be coaching while wearing a ski mask, because he’s stealing money.

Taggart, Frost and Manny are three peas in a pod.

Taggart had a better 2 year record than chip kelly, scott frost and chad morris. he had almost the identical record to jeremy pruitt. Only one got the quick hook. No coach deserves a hook that quick

"deserves" ? what the **** does that mean ? football coaches have some sort of entitlement ?
football is about winning and losing and a coach's success or failure is easily measurable.
so according to you, a coach is entitled to a minimum amount of time being paid millions of dollars even if the ******* has a clear record of failure by losing games ..... would you think the same thing if you were the poor sucker paying 100% of that
loser's salary ? no way you could honestly answer yes to that question.

Nah. Frost will have that team in the top ten next preseason.

If those 4 programs which program had the best blue chip %, most recent national title, most recent conference title and most recent playoff birth?

To Whom Much is Given, Much Will Be Required.

Obviously you know nothing about the wholesome & loyal people of Nebraska.

Totally different breed of human beings.

All that tough talk is all fine and good, but show me who is doing these unbelievable instant turnarounds that by your definiton allows them to "deserve" the money they are making?

IDK about Frost being on the hot seat. The University is investing ton of money in facility upgrades, etc. They fill that stadium for games. He also had a real culture issue on the team and has been weeding guys out. I think they'll give him more time.

You're right he's not on the hot seat.

you completely missed QP’s point.

No i didn't. He says the only measurable for a coach is wins and losses. When a new coach comes in, he's gererally taking over failure.

If the only way to guage success is wins and losses, who is doing it quickly enough to suit his defenition of deserving?

yes, you did. go back and read the original post that he was responding to. This isn’t about Manny, so chill with your defensiveness for a minute. He was talking about the difference between what Frost walked in to and what Taggart took over, very different. And no coach is “entitled” to a certain amount of time. If their boss decides they aren’t getting it done and they want to move on, the boss is “entitled” to make that decision.

I know it's not about Manny it was about Frost.

He said Frost is stealing money and I asked who isn't in his opinion. Because I don't see many if any instant fixes in major college football. Just about every new coach struggles when taking over a bad or even average team, sometimes for several years.
