Scott’s message to players in the portal

Im 45 yo….been watching Miami a long time, and seen a lot of high end talents since 80s,90s, and 2000s. Keionte Scott is one of my top 5 favorites. Easily redefined how the Nickel position should look moving forward. We have been blessed to watch this kid. Saddest part is we didn’t get 2-3 years of his heart, desire, and passion. Cheers to this young man, and he has plenty of football ahead of him.

Will go down as one of Mario’s most important player additions

great eval.

He played his way into the NFL with this season as well as Blay, Toure, and Thomas.

All possible transfers should be paying attention.
Easy to recruit kids when the kids on the current team heard the crooting themselves and actually saw it happen.

Gotta imagine he was an UDFA area prospect but the film he has now of being a playmaker in pass AND run defense is what Dcords are looking for… he runs a good 40 and he’s a day 2 pick all day.

Scott’s playmaking ability and passion are amazing, so disruptive. Got more out of him than many of our recent greats. Rousseau, JW, AQM.
It proves how much situation , coaching and being put in the right situation matters. Auburn took him away from his home at nickel and he struggled . Miami put him back at nickel and he instantly reverted back to his Jr year , even better.

What Scott, Thomas and even Poyser have done has truly been special. Scott and Thomas were instant. It took Poyser a few games to find his groove but he really raise his level once conference play started.
