School Admin Better Get Aggressive on Officiating

He literally pushed off with two hands then made a circus catch. There are other angles out there. I wanted it to count, but when I saw the view from the other side I could see how it was called.

See, that’s exactly what I’m talking about. We aren’t getting treated much better by refs in the B1G. I made that message board geniuses website for posting this last season and they can eat it on this, I’m right.

Again, like I said, the refs can call a penalty on every play. They don’t. Every play an OL holds. Every play a db is making contact beyond 5 yards. They do not call it. That was a nothing touching of the db, didn’t even hinder him, and they called it. It’s terrible and there is context to look at otherwise they would call everything on every play.

Everyone, else, besides you and Jagr, please look at it again:



It’s a joke. They called a late hit because we hit the qb around the waist as he released the ball. They called us for decking the qb trying to tackle our return guy on a turnover. wtf.

I’ve had it. Get us out of the conference.

I get it but they’re already doing what they do. They’ve already damaged Mali’s Heisman campaign. They’re stupid idiot old school good ole boys whose time has passed.

I think we should do It now and then go after them worse as it happens again. We can drag them and we should. We should absolutely expose them and degrade their conference credibility and reputation.

I agree but I don’t think trying to degrade the conference you’re currently in is the logical way to go about this, especially not in season. Only thing we can do is leave

We should absolutely leave and go independent until the right conference opportunity opens up

Yup. They’re garbage refs. I was just as mad when the refs cheated and gave Michigan that win over Western Michigan. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were B1G refs in that Michigan/WMU game. They’re almost as bad as ACC refs. It’s terrible what they did to those kids.

Big 12 has the best refs I’ve seen. At least in games we’ve been a part of. They let them play and they call it fairly right down the line.

And the other elephant in the room that hasn’t really been discussed is them sticking these first 4 games on weeknights and the CW. Pretty sure the ACC started dividing up the revenue share by viewership numbers. So it’s a big FU to us by burying us in **** time slots/days and on the CW. We were the second most watched team in the country last year. It sure looks like they’re doing everything they can to keep that from happening again.

Holy **** I didn’t even know about how the viewership numbers worked. There’s a lot of coincidences here.

Stating the level of officiating is subpar in the conference is not the same as stating there is a conspiracy at the conference leadership level to keep only one school as the power in the league. In fact, if there was such a conspiracy and Miami is the "chosen" school, wouldn't they be on the favorable end of all the calls?
 
At this point, there really isn’t anything anyone can do. The officiating on a weekly basis just gets worse and worse. Another horrifically embarrassing night last night. Nothing we can do but just suck it up and move on.
 
Acc is aids. Even though we are their bread winner they will find a way to **** us over for a .500 Carolina school.
