Schnelly has long deserved recognition for his long list of achievements

In all honesty, I never heard of this award before now...but I'm sure the Great Schnelly and his family would have appreciated him receiving it more if it happened during his lifetime..... Unless they only give this award to the deceased

Never heard of this award before.

But since Shnelly’s unfairly been snubbed from the Hall of Fame, I’m happy when he gets whatever awards he can.

He probably would have gone down as a Bobby Bowden type legend if he had stayed. Shameful that he’s not in the CFB Hall of Fame.

He deserves this award. Although I’m sure that his ties to Bear Bryant (who he played for at Kentucky and coached under at Alabama) didn’t hurt him in getting the award.
