Schiano has been around a real competitive program for years now. He knows how absolutely archaic Rutgers is. He knows the build to relevance is a long one. Just got a big, long contract 8 years, and supposedly the sticking points were football only facility, restructuring the AD, and money for a staff.
This is the problem with Miami. Miami's structure is ******* archaic. Everything about what we do is dated and cheap.
Look at our staff...its Manny Diaz, Dan Enos, and a bunch of Group of 5 journeyman. What do any of them know about the modernization of college football on the field, on the sideline, in the office, and in the board room? Nada.
