What is going back to the norm with them though? Hate to defend the enemy here but this is homerism at its finest. They have steadily improved since Jimbo got there, they supposedly peaked in 2012 and were gonna come back to the norm the following year, and then they won the MNC. Also i dont know if you have payed attention but Jimbo has straight outcoached Al every year they have faced off. Remember the hook line and sinker on that TD screen to Freeman when it was third down? Straight played us for fools. Let's see what Al does this year, but we are the ones that arent outcoaching anyone, in the meantime their staff was loaded and continues to be loaded, and the are now in cruise control on stacking their roster as they get not only tons of blue chippers as usual, but Jimbo has shown that he does in fact have a great eye for talent.....

No, it read like Al Golden has gotten dominated by FSU. Which he has. The only other time FSU dominated us was when we were on probation. Before Golden, Miami had won 8 of the last 12. Even though we're dealing with a coach who can't beat our most important opponent, we're still 4 wins ahead of them. But if Golden keeps it up, they'll catch us in no time.

But yeah, nice job pumping up FSU in order to make fun of my name because I don't think Al Golden is a good coach. People will go to some seriously strange lengths around here to defend the guy.

Same could be said of Schnells or Johnson then. Doesn't matter how you win, coach takes credit. Or blame if they lose

Both programs had a lot of out of state players, and we wouldn't have won the championships without them, especially the QBs. We could never find a Miami QB back then that could do what Walsh or Kosar did for us. We only won one with an arguably south Florida QB was 89 if you consider WPB south Florida (Erickson).

That's why I'm excited about Allison. I don't remember a stud QB prospect, as a pure pocket passer, who has come out of south Florida, that's on a level with him. If I'm forgetting, remind me.

Until this happens, I'm just going to work out in the gym.

After the streak that started in 2000 and stretched to Gore's run in OT in 2004, FSU had won 4 of 6 from 2005-2010 before Golden took the job. How the **** is that still dominating? Maybe you think it is baseball where going 2 for 6 over your career as a hitter probably gets you into the hall of fame?

For the second time. I didn't make fun of his name and I don't care. I don't care that he has a low opinion of Golden. Al Golden means nothing to me. He alluded to the fact that the username was valid until Golden took over. Losing 4 out of 6 in the six years before Golden would say that we hadn't owned anybody for sometime.

That doesn't mean I think he needs to change it. It does appear people will make up facts to validate their opinions which is weird when you don't really have to. There are plenty of real reasons to be upset. Like actually losing to FSU three times in row. Doesn't mean you should pretend like as soon as Golden took over Miami's dominance ended. The momentum had turned quite a bit beforehand.
