Scariest Article Yet (RE: Richt and Offense)

If we ran this exact same offense with Rosier, I don't think it would be as bad as Brad. Much...Much less deep passes would be completed, but quick pass game and RPO would probably be more effective...Assuming the WR's decide to catch the ball at one point.

His decision to suddenly insert Bauta against their biggest rival is likely what got him fired. It showed almost an unbelievable disregard for the importance of the UF game. And Bauta was very clearly unprepared to succeed on that stage. Giant head scratcher.

Yet another part of Richt's fact pattern.

His lack of leadership skills in making the tough and consistent decision didn't all of a sudden start here in Miami.

It isn't something you can just learn at this stage in his career. Some would even argue that trait is inherent in great leaders--they just have it as part of their DNA.

Richt has zero ability to self evaluate. If you can’t do that you’ll fail at managing a fast food restaurant.

i dont need to read articles to know richt aint the guy. i knew it when we hired him. as a matter of fact,
most of the board did. people accepted, tried to sell themselves on it, but NO ONE wanted him

We were happy bc it wasn't Schiano, but I'm not so sure Schiano would ve been worse.

Richt needs to hire a top notch OC and kill it in recruiting or we are toast.
you seriously think that would fix everything ? please go sit in the shade for a while and repeat this until you get it ......

Miami will NOT be elite again until Mork is GONE ! ..... Then go have a cold beer !

This falls squarely on the BoTs and our top notch AD “Flake Blames” for not doing their due diligence on this hire. That “Anything-that-gives-us-the-loudest-bang-for-the-buck” passive position is what produces a failure like this, year after year.

Let me see if I can figure this out.
The players in Georgia couldn't execute.
Totally different players, year 3 in Miami, can't execute. What's the common denominator?
**** players!!

Good coaches and good teams don't beat themselves.
15 yrs canes have been their own worst enemy that's why I say people here need to be patient when we hire a good coach it will take

The article concerns last year's UGA vs. UF game and how after struggling mightily offensively in previous games (sound familiar) Richt decided to inexplicably switch QBs and go with Faton Bauta (who never played) for their biggest rivalry game.

What's frightening ? The Dawgs pretty much ran the same Offense, despite Baton being a totally different QB and got creamed. The article also mentions some of the same exact struggles we've been having this season (right down to the drops).

That **** stubbornness is a killer.
