If any of verns comments are true then this teams upperclassmen are a bunch pusses and Duke Johnson is leading that pack. Good riddance to them all. Golden sucks **** and I want him gone as well but you would think the team would have more pride then quit and point fingers.

Kaaya was the only bright spot of the season. Duke Johnson may have the record but look at his stats against good competition. He racked up mostly garbage yards on the likes of Cincinatti and Arky States of the world. He's a good RB but not even close to elite.

Jesus I'll say it again: lots of our "fans" must still put their fingers on a hot stove b/c they never learn after getting burned.

This same **** happened at the end of every coaching tenure. Stop blaming the players for the vacuum in leadership!!!
 
those same kids will develop into good NFL players once they get real coaching. i don't blame them for wanting to remove themselves from the cesspool known as UM football.

So right now they can't run, pass, catch, block and tackle on their own? So they don't have pride or guts?
Is that what they think the NFL is all about.
Wait until they see how grown men play football.
These coaches suck but they're not on the field making plays.
I'm disgusted with the whole mess.
 
How anyone can blame the players is just beyond comprehension.

This staff's entire philosophy is weak, from the bend don't break, to sitting on a minimal lead, to throwing the players under the bus right after claiming your responsible as the head coach. It's a joke. It's a philosophy that works in the MAC or at a lesser BIG 10 program; it decidedly does not work at UM with S. Fla. players.
 
There's only so much bs you can expect college players to deal with. They work their asses off 365 days a year, all they expect is for their coaches to be leading them in the right direction.

Once a head coach starts doing bull**** like interviewing for other jobs and covering it up ... it's reasonable for the players to loose interest.

The upperclassmen and Duke have been in the field taking live fire for 4 years with nothing to show for it. They earned the right to say whatever the **** they want.
 
Vern should not put kids' personal business, even if it relates to UM, on a public forum.
