It’s been a helluva run. A run most people didn’t see coming and I’ve savored every moment of it. Stuff like this isn’t guaranteed as we’ve found out from the last 23 years. Win or lose I’ve gotten more enjoyment from this squad than any team of mine since the 04 Sawx. So especially to the younger guys here take it all in. Ten seeds don’t do this type **** , repeatedly knocking oft much higher seeds and proving folks wrong. None of this is surprising to most here but it’s still glorious to experience . A truly special group. We’ll likely have more talented teams down the road but this is the one that that killed a laundry list of narratives.

Preach it to the young bucks. This just ain’t reality we’re in and it’s important to recognize it.
 
After the SMU loss I gave far less of a **** as I figured it was another post season. Made plans when we had games, didn’t schedule around canes games. Been so much fun seeing how this run has transpired. Witnessed a group of young man putting it all on the line.

True statement. Sure this is why im not as concerned about this game as in the past championship games. Yes its been one **** os a ride. The season turned in to a great surprise and anytime you beat ND FLA FSU A&M OSU OLE MISS and make it to the natty what a year.

As one of the oldest here, I lived the glory years. This is exactly how it felt then. We all wore our gear. We stood taller around those in rivals’ gear. We made beer bets never thinking that we might have to pay. **** we were CANES. We didn’t care how many of us there were-we found each other and were brothers (and sisters). We screamed when we won and cussed when we didn’t. We lived in the spotlight-unafraid. Monday will be glorious my friends. It is our destiny to triumph. It is our Kismet!!!! We are CANES!
 
Love this team and our fan base. The Championship years were glorious, but you grow to have an even greater love and appreciation after the experience of that long stretch of down years and struggle. Mario is building it the right way and these players are all in. Let's get the Fn job done men, and start writting the next chapter of domination. Everyone hates the U again - order restored.
