Good morning. In less than 36 hours, Hurricanes fans from here will join others from around South Florida. And you will be launching the largest on-campus protest in the history of Miami football.

"Miami football." Those words should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it's fate that tomorrow is the Sixth of December, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom... Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution... but from December bowl games. We are fighting for our right to win titles. To play night games. And should we win the day, the Sixth of December will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day Coral Gables declared in one voice: "We will not go quietly into the pillars!" We will not be vanished by hashtags ! We're going to WIN! We're going to SURVIVE! Today we celebrate Miami Hurricanes Football!!!!

I am stuck in Canada but I am rooting for you folks in spirit. Hopefully it will make hard impact on BOT, Prez and AD.
