With Blake gone TrumpyCane needs a new message for Saturday

Manny is still coach so he’s still available to make fun of or go a positive way and promote who we want

Down to these choices or feel free to add and TrumpyCane might choose it
As much as I'd LOVE for you to go after manny, we know he's finally done. Its a waste at this point. Same with his punk ***** dad. The cristobal/kiffin banner is BRILLIANT. It would definitely make headlines for the right reason. That one puts the bot on notice that the fans want one of those 2.

The "Thank you Herbie" one posted earlier has to be the winner. You're almost guaranteed to get airtime on ESPN and shows we're not a bunch of ingrates.
That's what I was on board for originally. But with the way he's been talking up manny lately its almost like he regretted saying what he said.

Nah...they'd completely get it and he'd be appreciative. Herbie and Desmond have commented several times in the past about our banners.

Also, that ****** has always had a soft spot in his heart for this program. It shows we're not ingrates, watch the show, and don't just ***** about stuff all the time. Anything attacking Manny at this point is the definition of beating a dead horse. He's a dead man walking, just let him walk back to his ******* cell in peace. He's just a guy that took a promotion he didn't deserve, most humans would have done the same thing.

“Manny, you’re next”
“Blake is not enough”
“Don’t forget Strawley”
“Slip n’ slide to freedom”
“Best of luck at ticketmaster, Blake”
“No more Maine ticketmen. Hire a qualified AD.”
“Thank U Herbie”
“BBB”
“Turnover the chains of Hecht”

The narrative where Kirk Herbstreet is some secret Miami fan and hopes that we return to glory is one of the dumbest tropes repeated on this board. Not a single shred of evidence I've ever seen supports that. Any interest he may have is probably latent guilt at the way his Buckeyes won* in 2002 while he celebrated on their sidelines, he probably views it as a karmic sort of thing.

One could better make the case that ESPN likes bringing attention to when popular teams suck, because it drives clicks and views, and that Herbie is one of their mouth pieces.

Flying a banner 'thanking' him is so **** beta, I'd almost think Blake James came up with the idea.

Come home, Mario would be incredible even though half the board somehow thinks we can do better

Couldn't possibly disagree with this take any more.

It's a very subtle and clever **** YOU reminder to the administration that the genesis for most of the uproar was Herbie going on national TV and saying what , up until that point, no other ESPN pundit had said on national TV. That the problem was ONE LEVEL UP from coaching.

I'm sorry, you and I interpret that banner content 100% differently. And I think you've read enough of my posts to know I'm the champion of the "F You" beta types.

The more banners that fly the cheesier they get.

1997 “Fire Butch”
2018 “Bring back Butch”
2015 “#saynotomario”
2021 “Mario please come here”

Agree to disagree then.

I think people are attributing too much to Herbstreet's comments. This school had been great at keeping their heads in the sand and ignoring media.

I think Blake James' local media tour where he disavowed Diaz was way more impactful than that segment on GameDay. I think that led to much more local pressure.

A banner 'thanking' a media personality because the bias of Miami fans is having them take a logical leap about the intent of that segment? Weak.

What's next, a banner for Finebaum asking him to not be mean to us?
