Sanders Tears

Orrr..maybe the reports are true - ya know, taking a FaceTime call during an interview with an NFL coach. Or being questioned about film and responding 'then maybe this isn't the place for me'.
More likely: wholesale collusion or an entitled brat, who happens to play QB*, turning off organizations that would be locked in to pay him million$?

Yeah maybe all those rumors are true... Sounds insane... His dad was in the league, he has to know something about owners.

If this is about a person being to big and super stardom, how are you moving goalposts to come to the fact that Travis Hunter, a social media superstar, who E!SPN pushed to win a Heisman went #2 overall? He wasnt too big of a star for the Jags?

Jeremiah Smith is a superstar making millions of dollars in college. When he is eligible, think his popularity and superstardom will stop teams from taking him top 5? Lol

I don't see Travis Hunter as that. Dude seems like a great kid.

Huh? There’s been plenty of QBs that were drafted in the first round who were known jerks, or not particularly well liked. Jeff George, Jay Cutler, Cade McNown, Jamarcus Russell to name a few.
I don't really consider any of those guys similar. Being a jerk or not well liked is one thing. This is some type of air of superiority, where he apparently doesn't seem to feel the need to prove or sell himself or earn the respect of NFL personnel around the league. Not surprising considering his family tree, which makes him even more unique, especially knowing Deion will try to make himself a part of things, especially if they don't go Shadeur's way. Plus he's already made NIL money to boot. I'm sure he felt like a real high commodity a couple of days ago and when he was interviewing with teams. Yeah, I think.this is a different type of situation than the NFL has seen before in all reality.

Yeah. My post wasn't about Sanders. It was about collusion. I posted my OPINION
And my response was about both of them. They’re both douchebags and everyone is deciding they don’t want them in their company. So what’s wrong with keeping ****** people away from your company?

The whole thing is weird. I would take Sanders over the Louisville QB any day. I would trade Beck and both of the Cavinder twins for him right now.

The NFL is full of absolute POS humans. Cleveland picking Gabriel over him screams of collusion and that he aint getting drafted at all.

I rooted against his kid like he was an FSU QB all season but came away from every game saying this little **** is good.
Just asking,...at what point, in what game, did sanders make a play, where you said "this guy is it!".....where have you ever seen him, take full resposibility, for a loss, on his shoulders?....when did you see his "wow" moment? I only ask this, because as you ponder,..and try to find that one moment, play, interveiw,.. you may begin to realize....There were NONE!!

realistically - weak arm, not athletic, and sacks himself a lot.

pre draft - he was expected to be late first at best. he then interviewed really poorly.
This sounds like something you heard and just repeating it. Where is the film evidence of a weak arm and not being athletic enough to play QB in the NFL? What was said in the interview to justify it was a poor interview? I’m genuinely curious because his stats over the course of his college career does not suggest what’s stated in your post.

Sir, you know I love you. But this goes well beyond "not seeming humble enough or grateful for this opportunity".

First, as to Eli Manning..."Teams" (plural) were not told to "not bother attempting to draft him". ONE TEAM was told he would not play for them. The San Diego Chargers. With that information, the Chargers were able to convert Manning into PHILIP RIVERS, NATE KAEDING, SHAWNE MERRIMAN, and ROMAN OBEN (late career). So it worked out well for everyone. I never saw any specificity of rationale or options with Shedeur.

Second, as to the "blinged out" issue, Shemar Stewart was just picked, with his Thanos bling (matching with his "father" Coach Moe).

And as to the "bank account **** near equivalent to the HC", Cam Ward was just picked.

I appreciate the fact that your partner reps Jeanty. But the draft process is a job interview that results in a multi-million dollar contract and a multi-year commitment for employment. I'm sure your partner didn't advise Ashton Jeanty to behave in a way that was disrespectful towards others and insulting of the time they spent in interviews. If Shedeur had REJECTED interviews, that would be one thing. But he actually WENT TO interviews where he treated everyone poorly, like he didn't want to be there and that they should be grateful he even showed up in the first place.

As for your thoughts on "off-field issues", you are not wrong. I would just say that anything that doesn't happen "on-field" could be described as an off-field issue. There are other things that have been cited by sources that were not listed in people's responses to you that are problematic, such as "blaming teammates" and "wanting credit for good things but not owning mistakes".

Look, you know my history, you know I haven't liked Deion since the 80s. But you can't be dismissive of "but his dad". This is not an ordinary "but his dad". This is a father who was being pursued for the Cowboys head coaching job, and is a current NCAA head coach. So Neon Deion is not just a "you should start my son already" type of parent. He is a guy who could legitimately use his power to cause problems with holdouts, he could steer his other college players away from teams, and he could make other ongoing team-undermining comments. The media will print EVERY SINGLE negative comment that Neon Deion directs towards NFL teams for the next decade when it comes to Shedeur.

This is not just one team. This is all 32 teams. All 32 teams who have each had MULTIPLE chances to select Shedeur. And at bargain-basement prices too. ****, Warren Sapp slid too, but STILL there was at least one team that wouldn't let him slide past the first round.

A player could be arrested...and learn his lesson and become a better man. You've seen all the hate directed at Ray Lewis, but has he not lived an incredible and upright life since the Super Bowl shootings?

But Neon Deion has been a disrespectful *** his entire life. Sure, he coaches now. But he still treats people he doesn't admire/respect like they are ****.

Talent trumps everything for NFL people. If he was viewed as an incredible talent, some team would look the other way regarding the off the field stuff/family dynamic. Shemar was just taken in the first purely on his workouts.

SHEDEUR GET READY TO LEARN CAR SALESMAN

Passed on FIVE TIMES BY THE CLEVELAND BROWNS

Shedeur must have said something absolutely diabolical during those interviews - reddit

Just in perusing media commentary, I see that Joel Klatt, Colorado alumnus, has changed his tune re: Shadeur. A couple weeks ago he was defending/promoting Sanders warning of false narratives. Now, he's urging Shadeur to 'humble himself'. Have to think as a part of the CU community and a media member Klatt's heard some things to cause the about-face.

*I know this ****weed is a 'Cane hater, but seems credible this time, at least.

It's about control. They want every player to know the league is about them and the gift they give to players by allowing them to play in the league.

It's clearly not about his talent. There is no world where Milore is a better QB than Sanders...

Let's pretend there is a new rule that says league is only for humble and good guys... How many players get cut tomorrow because of this new rule?

Cleveland... deshaun watson... lol...

These mofos find reasons to keep dudes who beat up their girlfriends. So his crime aint about being a bad person its about being too big.

I actually liked him dropping to the second round. F ESPN for what they did to Cam. I rooted against this kid every game he played but its weird knowing that owners routinely bring in garbage players all the time.

Tyreke is a one of those pieces of garbage but I will be rooting for him... again...

What do you think is more likely:

1. A group of 32 owners met in secret risking the reputation of their multi-billion dollar league and being sued into oblivion and said "hey, this guy is a great prospect that could help our teams win and make millions of more $ BUT we need to show our control so let's not draft him and teach him a life lesson."

OR

2. A good college QB's skillset was overhyped by the media because of who is father is and displayed questionable behavior while interviewing for jobs, evidenced by "worst interview of all time" quote, Facetiming during an interview, and telling a team they aren't a good fit.

NFL teams will bring in guys regardless of character if they think it'll be more wins (and more $). It should be very telling that no team within the first 3 rounds wants to touch Shadeur and have him dictate their (HC and GM) futures.

Just say you never watched him play.

There were tons of games where he showed he was a legit talent. Now acting like he didn't have any good games is just weird.

You don't have to build up this weird story about how he now sucked, we know this aint about his talent. It's about everything else that came a long with him and how he treated the NFL process.

"met in secret"

LOL... why do you guys have to just make up weird **** when trying to make a point?
