Sanders Tears

I feel like the only people who grasp this point either come from a coaching background or have played at a high level. I'm legit lost when I see people who keep arguing this point thinking no one wants to see these kids get paid. It's just a fact. Money changes people
People will work hard up until the point where they're comfortable and don't see the benefit of additional effort for additional rewards. The marginal rate of return for giving up the good life for the film room and gym isn't worth it to them.

This is where the confusion seems to set in around these sites at least. Just because a kid has a best-selling jersey doesn't equate to anything other than his popularity or in his instance his popularity and more off his fathers. Piggybacking all the social media success. Not at all saying the kids are bad player or anything like that cuz he's not. But I don't give a s*** how many jerseys he sells I only care about what he could do to help my team. And that he was never what everybody else wants to make him out to be.

Gonna be a lot of kids in South America and Africa rocking Shedeur Sanders jerseys in a couple of years...

I’m just showing the fruits, results or culmination of all of this attention, whether good or bad. If he is popular, whether hated or loved, he can easily find a way to monetize it, and will. And there’s nothing wrong with it. Alot of the people dissing him are on their way to purchase his jersey for the sons and daughters as we type.

You get more of what you subsidize.

Was the question ever his popularity? There's a reason espbeta just spent 3 days insulting every kid who was being drafted so they could focus on the golden child who was being neglected by each and every NFL franchise cause everyone is racist and has an agenda to suppress deion Sanders & his offspring... My only point is for whatever team drafts him for his ability(not just the obvious media attention and ticket sales)their expectations don't match that hype.

I don’t know, you brought up popularity in response to my post.

Just for clarity: Are you saying their is no racial component involved in the disdain that has been shown towards Shedeur (and his dad) and that it did not impact where he was chosen in the NFL draft?

The Browns chose Shedeur in the 5th round. So their expectations of his ability are that of a 5th round QB draft pick. Are you saying that Shedeur will not meet the expectations of a 5th round QB draft pick?

#1 I'm definitely saying there is zero racial components behind his fall in the draft nor his eventual selection. I don't care the fans perspective. I'm speaking on nothing but the teams angle. His skills and how he directly effects a team.

#2 to assume that because the browns selected him in the 5th, they have nothing but 5th round expectations on him would be naive. Honestly the main draw for him is purely revenue related. He will bring ticket sales so long as he makes the team. He will bring media attention each and every second he's on a roster. That's not something you would ever expect out of a 5th rounder. Feel free to off the top of your head tell me who else was selected in the 5th round. Who else is spoke about globally out of this draft in **** near any round that is that kind of draw. Never forget this is a business first and foremost.
