Interesting seeing the same people that said Manny deserved to be fired because winning 8 games a year with no ACCCG, major bowls or CFP appearances "was not good enough" are now the same ones saying that Mario winning 9/10 games a season with no ACCCG, major bowls or CFP appearances is fine and that we need to lower our expectations.

the same folks that ragged on me for saying the Lane Train would be the right decision are currently in every thread speaking Lane into every big open hc position in p4 currently which is hilarious to me...Because not a sole is clamoring for....

That's what Pete said today after the game,maybe he was just ****ed and didn't think through.I won't lower my expectations as long as we spend top 10 in NIL.now if Mario was to be fired and we go back to cheap then yes it's time to give up and be a casual and not waste any time or money on this team.
 
I gave Mario a pass for 2022 but after Ga Tech in 2023 I was done and wanted him gone that night. Guy ****** sucks and I can’t wait until he gets canned. Bring in a coach who know wtf he is doing and bring in smarter players are well.

I dont think thats correct
Manny was an incompetent idiot with roster management and recruiting

But in terms of coaching his ceiling was 8 wins here
I think Mario's floor is 9-10 wins now that he fixed the roster mismanagement

My expectations are lowered, I expect to be in the playoffs most year, and in the conversation every year, 1st part hasn't been met yet
For good or bad Mario is here for a long time, hope he meets those expectations
