***** Clemson, South Carolina... and Texas likely round out the top three for Top247 CB Samari Matthews of Cornelius (N.C.) Hough.

Matthews wants to make a decision on Aug. 10.

Clemson could have the edge here based on his relationship with longtime cornerbacks coach Mike Reed. But he also really likes South Carolina's Torrian Gray. And Texas is the wildcard.

Officials planned to all three aforementioned places, plus Florida State.

Miami hosts him this week, followed by Texas next weekend. It'll be his first visit to Austin.
