Yall been doing this “Emory Szn” pussified **** for two str8 seasons lol, last time I checked portal doesn’t close until Jan 20th

We've clearly had success with our portal QBs, the offensive line is solid even without Mauigoa and Bell, Dawson's offense is pretty friendly for the position.

I get that Lane is a bit of a QB whisperer, but the offensive line is going to have question marks and the skill positions are all over the map.

Money probably played a role, but for a top of the line program with a ready-made offensive line, we sure make it hard on ourselves at QB.

Just my opinion but most likely it has to do with the culture of TEAM that Mario has built and is still building. Not everyone (especially the high end QB's) is going to rock with that.

last year’s final too with howard and leonard. ewers also transferred to texas but that’s kind of a stretch since he didn’t play at osu. allar was the only semifinal qb that hadn’t moved.

I'll say this:

I have no idea why portal QBs keep showing us the door based on recent developments. Money + talent + recent production are all in our favor.

This shouldn't happen in the first place.

The starting QB for next year cannot possibly be on this roster right now, or we are in some serious trouble offensively for next year.

Yep.
Williams set a precedent that other QBs aren’t going to want to follow.
The public backlash and legal atmosphere just isn’t something you’re jumping into this late in the game.
 
This is nitpicking because results and the process have worked, but Mario/Dawson entering year 5 without developing a HS QB recruit is somewhat discouraging. Emory, Nickel, Judd, and I'll include Coleman b/c no way he can start next year. None of those guys are super exciting right now but maybe that will change.

If true, i walk. You want to treat it like a business, fine. Then be professional. Playing games has consequences.

If this was always the plan communicated.....that they were targeting a number but would take offers back home and review before making a final decision, that's different.

As always, context matters. Only Mario and Co know the context and he'll do what he feels is necessary.
