I agree 200%. We should take Leavitt, the bird in the hand and plenty good enough to win, over a guy who may be available if he doesn’t like his draft grade.

Can anyone explain the injury timeline? I thought this dude was the best option, even including Simpson (who I think is a good fit), sans the fact he’s had some worrying injuries (ribs, lung, lisfranc).

Watching his highlights and I noticed his TE Chamon Metayer has a similar build to Lofton. I think Lofton is listed smaller but I think he can play like Metayer did for ASU

Watching the highlights Metayer didn’t really look that tall, but they schemed up some nice plays for him. I can see Lofton in the same role for Leavitt
