A top 50 pick can net a team a starter. That pick can be used to get a RB1, the 2nd or 3rd best TE prospect, a good OG, smart safety without elite measureables, etc. The Cardinals traded Rosen into the pick that became Andy Isabella (defining season for him coming up). After two 2nd round picks in 2019, they traded their 2020 2nd rounder in a package for Hopkins. So the Jets could also move that pick for a player too.

He's no less talented than the QBs that would have been available at #8. We have a whole summer to wash the Gase stink off him and get him ready for September.

Overpaid AND got a deal. Darnold doesn't suck. It's the fucking Jets. They're the type of team you tell your kids they were the Cleveland Browns. They are cursed.

Darnold is younger than Burrow, and has a chance to prove he’s better than he played under Gase. Ruhle and Brady may need to completely break him down and rebuild him.
