Sam Bruce

i like Bruce hes a beast but he said if Ag is fired hes gone. which is a cop out that tells u hes gone regardless, read between the lines unless ur new to recruiting. this kid is gone man regardless if ag stays or is fired.

if al golden is gone next year blake james better have are next coach hired within the next week so he can work on keeping this class intact

I think this is key for Bruce and other recruits. As I recall, Bruce didn't say he'd decommit, he said he'd reopen his recruitment. A fine point granted but I would expect most of our or any other team's recruits to be concerned when the coaches that recruited them leave for whatever reason. It's only natural to hedge your bets. If James makes a good hire I don't expect many if any de commits based on Golden leaving. But the newly appointed coaching staff has to be on board quickly and sell hard. We shall see.
 
If Sam Bruce was going to Florida, why hasn't he decommited already? Wouldn't he have flipped when Jordan Scarlett flipped? What's he waiting for?
 
When Scarlett flipped to uf, bruce tweeted out that he something to the effect that people nowadays arent loyal and he keeps it 100. I think if miami has a good season he stays committed.

They are closer, they are at least one year ahead. Horse teef may not be the one to lead them there, but we don't know that, his rebuild process has just started. We (think we) know Golden isn't the one to lead us there, and we have a rebuild that has yet to begin.

They have shown nothing to indicate they are closer, and they have more holes in their depth than we do.

Not only that they will always have to get thru SEC/SEC title game just to get to playoff. We have much better chance running the table in ACC than they do of making it thru that gauntlet.

That staff doesn't even have a real starting quarterback, holding to a misguided notion that they have two (2) QBs that will play. When you have two, you have none.

It's easy. He probably prefers Miami and is hoping for a great season from the Canes. If that doesn't happen he can flip. Why decommit now and then recommit if Miami kills it? Just stay committed so you don't look stupid decommiting and recommiting. The answer here is that he's not firmly committed anywhere.

kids like to build there brand so it will be done at a later time to build up the press and fans.......these kids r all business.
 
I know Bruce will flip to U*** in the end. I've seen this show before. And as much as I try to brace myself for it, this one is still going to sting. Kid is a little pit bull out there. Steve Smith-esque.
 
Recruiting is so fluid, you're never gonna hear me say a kid is a lock. However, Bruce really does like this staff and he's close with several members of the staff.
