Sam Bruce question

Sam Bruce is pretty swole right now body wise....

I think he actually may be tapped out...he's one of those kids that has been doing the camp circuit/ thing since he was like 12.

Realize Roscoe came in to um weighing 150-155 pds, Santana was probably 165-170.

Bruce is like 185 now coming in...

The player i will compare him to is Santana Moss in play style and aggression...he runs hard as **** hes tough to bring down...and just makes great plays and runs crisps routes like santana.

He's very tough to tackle 1v1 and a better route runner than those two were as incoming freshman. He's been coached by Kevin Beard, Isaac Bruce, and Chris Carter.

More burst and body control than long speed. Reminds me more of Peter Warrick and Tavon Austin. Neither one of those ran fast 40s in hs (Warrick ran 4.5s at his pro day) and were nothing special in the 100m. But, both were filthy with the ball in their hands, had excellent change of direction and you could even line them up at RB, depending on the scheme. Austin had over 300yds rushing against Oklahoma.

Bruce has one of the best 0-20yd bursts and change of direction from watching HS in SFL, as well as OOS HS football, that I can remember since the mid 90's.

Bruce could also be a very good corner. I remember his sophomore season against booker t, where he held his WR without a catch. Physical and changes direction better than anyone in SFL.

Tavon Austin?

Tavon Austin ran a 4.47 stop watch in hs. He also never broke 11 seconds in the 100. I saw Austin two years ago at Brandon Marshall's training facility and Bruce might actually be bigger than him.

Same type of player to me, except Bruce should be more technically sound coming in.

I didn't even see you mentioned him as a similar player in your response lol. I was saying Bruce reminds me of him as well. We haven't had a receiver like that in a while
