Sam Brooks starting for Pickney in bowl game

Did they take his scholly away and give him walk on status? Wow Brooks is smart he knows the only way to get time is to go into meeting rooms with a disguise saying he's an alter ego of Brooks and is a walk on.
 
If I were Shaq, I wouldn't play either.

Bowl game meaningless, but an injury impacts his future potential professional earnings.

It does make a bit more sense when you've got nothing left to prove and will get drafted early. Unfortunately for Mike, he's still got a lot to prove and should've been trying to play in a senior bowl game and the teams. Good luck though and if that last game of yours is the way you want to go out, that's on you.

I somewhat disagree.

If your team has meaningful post season play, go for it.

One injury in the Poulan Weed Eater-Taco Cabana Bowl Spectacular coming at you live from Las Cruces New Mexico on 20 Dec is not worth diminishing a shot at rookie contract.

It is just business.

With that said, however, it is laudable to play through the whistle, no matter the risk.

Tough call.
