This is an example of exactly why they promoted who they did on the D staff due to the timing of when we lost Manny. Not saying I'm jumping for joy over the hire/promotions, but hands down a big factor in it was trying to keep this class together on the defensive side.

I'd hope he was more associated with the kid's current statement than the people that signed off on his one with the decommitment. There are obvious various "camps" and influences/voices that surround all these kids.
