Safety position- Any new updates on prospects?

Why are we not talking about Travis Rudolph and flipping Jo Jo Robinson? I thought both were safeties.

CJ Hampton, Stephen Robert (CB/S Bama commit/ Auburn lean) who wants major in Music engineering or something with music, or offer RaShaan Gaulden. We need depth badly.

Why not give Michael Johnson a shot and take a gamble. We also need to take a look at a guy like Juco Josh Keys http://www.hudl.com/athlete/o/1756855/highlights/18931384. Also, for the 15 class we need to offer Brewton even though we are recruiting other safeties in that class harder. We can not let guys leave our back yard, depth and numbers are always a good problem to have.

I like Mayes a lot. He has good ball skills, which we are in need of big time at the safety position. I am shocked that with all the athletes in Florida and our history of great safeties that we don't have a ball hawking safety!

Mayes is definatley a safety here

No chance in **** he's a safety

When Mayes sees that immediate playing time next year, he will be glad to play safety. Which will he choose, be on the two deep at safety or not even on the depth chart at CB?

He doesn't like to tackle, that is what I am looking for in a safety.

Exactly, **** the measurables it's about do you want to hit? He doesn't. I hate UF but I loved Matt Elam and he was I think 5'9 but loved to hit like no other

Whats up with that Glass kid. Bring him in.

I heard he had some off the field concerns and we backed off
Thats a goon and thats what I want.

you'll get no arguments from me. coaching staff may feel otherwise tho. I believe that's why georgia back off also

edit: i just stopped being lazy and googled him. He has grade concerns (although his twitter said he was on track to graduate early)

If your looking for immediate help from a HS recruit for 2014 over what we currently have,I don't think that recruit exists.
A D1 safety is too complicated a position for someone three months out of HS.
