I hate Saban too, but he helped make Hurts make the right decision, no question about it.

Who cares if nicky steered hurts somewhere else, I'm still ****ed that stupid **** broke up our secondary before he dipped out, that dumb **** basically got rid of sam madison(which is why I told people the Giants were gone beat bill belicheat)and surtain and brought in bums. He will continue to hate everything Miami!

Then you think about the living **** of playing in Enos’ offense with no protection.

That is difficult to make a guess on.

Hurts didn’t play in Enos’ offense at Bama. He would have made some throws and better decisions. There would be more points. How many is hard to gauge.

The qb unfriendly system we ran would have put a ton of pressure on Hurts. His weaknesses would have been amplified due to bad o line play and playcalling.

Would Enos have called the same quick passing plays that were so successful to start the game at Florida? Or would he have run those under center plays he loves and the first drive would be a complete disaster regardless of Hurts’ skills.

Thing is though with his experience and maturity, I have a hard time seeing us lose all those close games, including Florida.

In the long run it was for the best. Enos got exposed and ran out of town. Hurts grinding his way to ugly wins would have just been lipstick on a pig and Manny would have been crowned and maybe even another premature extension.

Last year left little to debate in our need for better coaching and leadership. It was better to take the bad medicine now as opposed to later.

You ever been in an argument with someone where you are asking them to answer either yes or no, but they refuse to answer and keep avoiding the question with responses like "well it's not that simple " or its complicated "? 99% of the time they are intentionally bullsh!tting because they know the answer will prove your point.

You know the answer is that Hurts is probably worth at least 10 more points per game. That means those many of those close losses are likely wins (I still included some Ls because there will be bad bounces). That gets Miami to at least 10 wins and the ACC championship game. Yes, even with Enos calling the plays- and believe me- I'm not an Enos fan.

Lets switch QBs- if 2019 Miami with Jalen Hurts played 2019 Oklahoma with Jarren Williams, what do you think the score is?

Jarren would play very, very well for Lincoln Riley. It would be the perfect situation for him.

They would beat us by at least two touchdowns if Enos was oc. Maybe a lot more.

Give us Hurts but Lashlee as oc in the same scenario and that is a game I would be very excited about because we are playing in a Big 12 style offense having one of the Nation’s top dual threat quarterbacks.

Oklahoma’s defense is meh, so I like our chances in that scenario.

Exactly! Saban did what I would want a man to do for my son! OP drunk as **** and needs to shut the **** up

No idea why anyone would fault Saban for this. Sucks for us. Great for the kid in question. That decision made him millions. If we had Lashlee last year might have been a different scenario. And this year we got our Hurts (arguably better).

We haven't been relevant for nearly 2 decades.

Winning solves it.

Worked out well for Hurts.

If we ever get to play football, perhaps we'll get to see what the new coaching blood on the offensive side of the ball can do.
