S&C Coach Choices?

I'm so glad we got rid of the S&C. We someone from either:

Alabama - Obvously why.
Clemson Obviously why.
LSU - Obviously why.

Wisconsin - For years this program has been able to put physical teams on the field.
Boston College - read Wisconsin
Georgia - Obviously why.

Teams who have the identity of being physical.

LSU or Clemson - the strength needs to be there - but we need strength with quickness - and speed.

We need someone who has a history of developing 3 stars. Not guys who tell 5 stars bench a lot of weight.

Cal dietz from minnesota. Guys knowledge is second to none in the business amd is willing to constantly continue learning

This ia awesome news, we have lacked explosive strength forever on both sides of LOS.
Manny not wasting time....

From TOS - Darren Krein - NFL Head S&C coach of the year in 2013. UM alum, played D-End at the U and was all Big East, has 2 natty's, played in the league and has been a S&C coach in the league for years.
He wants to come home (spoke with him tonight) and put the U back on the map.
Let me know everyone's thoughts.

Exactly, bring me a S&C coach with experience running a NFL Strength program, that's what we need.

The guys I mentioned Larry Jackson, was at TAMU, Oklahoma, Houston & The LA Chargers, he also played as a DE for the Dolphins in 97.

And Juney Barnett has been a long time assistant Strength coach for the Ravens under Steve Saunders who's been there for the last 3 years & is considered one of the best S&C Directors in the league.

Jackson and a ton of other guys will be looking for work soon. 8 NFL openings as of now which means if Diaz wants to go the NFL route he will have plenty of candidates to choose from.
