Could Ryheem be the reason we have not seen much activity at the safety position this recruiting season? I remember back after signing day coach Brown said in a radio interview that Ryheem was going to start out at safety. I know that it is very rare for someone his size to have the hips and change of direction ability to be successful at safety. Measuring at 6-4, 220 pounds, with a 37 inch vertical, and 4.6 speed it is very possible that he could play the position.

In his high school highlight film he is playing TE, WR, RB, LB, CB, & S so he does have experience at the position, and his football IQ must be off the charts. He does look very explosive and fast on tape so we could be getting one of those once in a blue moon athletes who can be a difference maker at safety like Josh Harvey-Clemons at Georgia

He is also an amazing basketball player as we all know most outstanding basketball players are also amazing athletes who are explosive, can run, jump, and change direction on a dime. He averaged 30 points a game his SR year. The quality is bad, but here is a video of him breaking the rim in a basketball game.

I would prefer to see him as a tight end or linebacker personally. Just takes a truly unique athlete to be that big and be able to play safety. I learned my lesson with the Ray Ray Experiment.

Ray Ray was not close to this kid as an athlete.
 
He's a beast at te or linebacker and I would think he's a tight end because after Beau/Clive leave next year we don't have much depth

I'd say a H-Back/TE.

Nothing about this guy tells me he can come in and do what Thurston Ambrister and Tyrone Cornelius couldn't do, to be given a chance to stick at Safety.

Agree. This kid is lights out. That said, if he was 6-3, 220 already coming out of HS, he's gonna grow out of the safety/WR quickly. Sean Taylor is the exception (coming to college at 6-3, 220 safety and staying there).
