Why do yall bag on our best players ALL of the time? Duke, Stacy, and now kaaya? Smh...

y'all really think a worse quarterback would make up for the fact that our O-line is soft and our defense can't stop St. Thomas Aquinas?

Lol who believes that Kaaya was the best QB in the acc besides delusional UM fans?

The only reasons he won rookie of the year was because Watson stayed hurt... lol what did Kaaya do to be better than Winston or Brissett?

I'll say it for the first time. Preston Dewey needs a quarter as well since we're apparently sucking off all the bad QBs Jedd Fisch brought in.

He wasn't the best qb in the ACC but I think he was our best qb and showed promise of his potential. It did help having teams game plan against Duke and no one being able to match up against Dorsett(should have had way more targets)... That being said, I agree... Williams wasn't a good qb...If he was talented enough he would have played... I think Brad starting was inevitable... Williams was battling with Olsen until it became apparent that he was bad qb... Kaaya wouls have started right after the UL game...

I do think Kaaya is better than Brissett... Its unfair to compare a true freshman to a guy who has been in college for 4 years... I'm just disappointed in how mediocre Brisset is... I thought he was the 2nd best qb in the state behind Bridgewater. That being said, Watson was a bit more advance than Kaaya... However Kaaya is a top 3 qb in the conference next year...
 
So for the record, Im not saying that Ryan Williams is the better option. Im saying that UM is playing in an insignificant bowl game between two 6-6 teams. I was hopeful that golden would give Ryan Williams some time during senior day but al couldn't do it because he was once again coaching for his job. Well now that our puppet AD has made it clear that al will be here for another year, Im hopeful that he will engage in some pomp and circumstance by giving some playing time to a kid who I like and who came to UM when we were at our lowest point. Im not suggesting anything more than that.

A quality coach gives Ryan a few series in this game.
 
Al's an idiot....but what in your right mind makes you think out of nowhere Al's suddenly going to ditch the ACC Freshman of the year and break out some unproven memphis transfer. I would have liked Williams to start the year but unfortunately things happen.

Its crazy that ppl think a true freshmam QB who played average at best, would have STILL been better than an average at best redshirt senior QB in Ryan Williams?
