Ryan Mayes Mid Season Highlights this year

I see alot of improvement from last year. Glad to have him on our team.

That tape looks like a safety to me. He has great ball skills and is not afraid to lay the wood out there. He also show a great understanding of pursuit angles, something we have not see from our current safeties.
 
He's getting more physical his one knock against him...I like the progress and he's still growing not near his ceiling
 
There is no where to put Mayes at but safety especially if Miami is trying to get JC Jackson and Kendall Randolph.
 
Love this kids size. We need to bring in either a big CB or a good sized safety like him. Kids a project but with his measurables he will find his spot.

Meh, nothing special but he looks a legit 6'2 and can run. Like stated, he ends up at least as good as Rodgers, and much better than AJ. Plus he is from a feeder school. I know the knock on him is that he isnt physical, but he didnt look like he was afraid of contact there(I know its just a highlight reel). We need safeties.......

I think it's fair not to like every offer we make. Some guys we adore turn out to be jags. Some guys we think unworthy of a scholly turn out ballers. The ****ery is when you get the feel some posters are rooting for the program or kid's failure just so they can wallow in internet geniusery.
