Summit Chatham morris plains, Morristown Chester ridewood, upper montclair saddle river rumson, sea bright, glen ridge, Madison, ho-ho-kus , Princeton cherry hill LBI forked river etc etc

Jersey gets a bad rep, but it’s got a lot of great communities all over the state

Back in the 1970s-1990s it was a health hazard driving through north Jersey on I95.
I remember attending preseason kickoff between FSU and Kansas in 1993 and several of our
party had to leave game early because it was 100 degrees with chemical smell permeating the
stadium.
On the other hand, as a kid living in NYC during the early 1970s, we used to stay at a house in Avalon
in south Jersey, and that was great place at the time. Lots of open spaces and as a city kid we were
impressed with the tortoises and rabbits running around the area. I've heard area has been developed
substantially but it remains a nice place on the Jersey shore.
